Coolest Chai Dhaba in Islamabad

 Are you a tea fan? Are you looking for a good Chai Dhaba with a bit of an Urban touch? Well, THE HOT SPOT in F7, Islamabad is the right place for you. We visited the Hot Spot during T20 cricket tournament season. The place is outstanding which we will discuss in a bit, but to my amusement, they had a screen set for their tea fan customers. The matches of T20 were being screened and tea was being served! Talk about coolest eat outs and Islamabad has some of the best really!!!

The Cafe's menu has a lot of items in categories of hot beverages, ice cream, desserts like brownies, banana bread and pies and there are lighter options such as sandwiches. It’s a complete treat overall. I loved the place because natural greens are a huge part of the ambiance. There is a hut type serving area and kitchen that is in the center while the serving set up is all around this hut as well as inside. We took the menu and explored its options. We were out to just chill and hang out and have tea, so we were not looking for something lavish and heavy to eat however, the menu offered desi food such as bbq items as well as mouthwatering pastas. All the food you love, you can find in the menu with a good ambiance and a very chill vibe to the place. 

We ordered tea, and a brownie with chocolate sauce and no ice cream on the top because let’s be honest I did not want to have tea and ice cream with brownie and confuse my mouth with all the hot and cold. We are curious explorers so after a while of sitting in the open air, we decided to see how the hut looks like. 

Well, if the nature is giving an exquisite ambiance to the dine out portion, the dine in portion of the hut is equally elite and artistic. The Cafe's walls are full of tin slates that have artistic drawings and catchy lines from popular memes and dialogues from media. I read it on the walls that the tin slates are actually for sale. I love it when the coffee shops and tea places have a sense of artistic aura to them and that is capture here at the Hot Spot. After a brief while we were adequately served our food. Take a look at the mugs that would remind you of Lollywood peak era and take a moment to just look at the color of the tea: 

By the way, the tabletops were artistically painted too. We were amazed. We did not pause for a minute and take our snaps for the mugs and well I was equally intrigued to taste the tea. As the popular phrase goes, "Tea is fantastic."

The tasted amazing. The weather was cloudy and cold, the tea was warm and heartwarming. The brownie was served hot swimming in a dark chocolate sauce. The brownie was soft, and the sauce was delicious. We did not know how the time passed by because this frankly speaking is the first place where we enjoyed food and ambiance together as both were at par in quality and satisfaction. 

The place is crowded by people and no wonder why! Surely, the taste and quality is amazing and as I am writing about this, I am secretly missing the tea we had! Its very rare to have a good cup of tea that is as per your taste and liking. The Hot Spot hits the point. 

The name of the restaurant compliments its business because it really is the hot spot because its always full of people. The food quality is amazing and the ambiance is soul soothing. If you are in Islamabad and looking for a perfect place to chill and enjoy, the Hot Spot is a must visit place here for sure!
